Snowmobiling Exploring by snowmobile lets you cover a lot of trail (and lake) in a day (or evening) and see plenty of spectacular scenery. Snowmobile trails are designated, marked, and groomed, and good maps are available to help you navigate the area trails as well as the hundreds of miles of surrounding trails. The main artery trail runs mostly parallel to the Gunflint Trail, with numerous scenic loops and spurs that provide fun for hours or days.
